Will You Deliver To My Area?

Backyard Amusements, LLC services Charles County, Calvert, St. Mary's and Prince George’s County, Washington DC, Alexandria, Virginia, and Arlington, Virginia. Backyard Amusements, LLC delivers free of charge to areas within a 25 mile radius of Bryans Road, Maryland. We can and will delivery to areas outside of this radius for an additional fee. If your location is outside of our free delivery area, a delivery fee will apply.

What do I do in the event that unexpected rain or high winds occur during our rental period?

The bounce blower is powered by electricity. If rain is encountered, ask everyone to quickly exit the bounce. Once emptied, unplug the blower and cover it. Allow the unit to deflate. DO NOT USE THE UNIT IN THE RAIN OR HIGH WINDS! Once the weather has passed, plug the blower back in, allow the unit to inflate and dry the interior with a towel. This is very important, as the vinyl is very slippery when wet. Once dry, then the inflatable equipment, moon bounce/inflatable bouncer can be utilized again.

How Do I Prepare For My Rental?

Please be present at the time of delivery.

Time of delivery may be as early as 7:30 a.m., depending on the delivery schedule. We will work with you, our customer to determine the best time to set-up. The time of pick-up may be as late as 9:00 p.m. depending on the pick-up schedule. Again, we will work with you, our customers to determine pick-up time.

A standard 110 outlet within 100 feet is required for operation. The designated outlet should be for the sole use of the inflatable unit’s blower. No other items should be plugged into the outlet with the inflatable unit’s blower. If an electrical outlet is not available, a generator is available for an additional fee.

The bounce site should be relatively level, clear of all sharp sticks, animal waste, large rocks and other debris. We use 32” stakes to secure the inflatable. Make sure there are no underground irrigation pipes and/or buried telephone cables or electric lines close to the bounce site.

Provide an appropriate space: 12' X 12' bouncers requires at least a 15' X 15' space with at least 18" of clearance from tree branches and other obstructions. The 15' X 15' bouncers requires at least a 18' X 18' space with at least 18" of clearance from tree branches and other obstructions. The 5-in-1 combination bouncers require at least a 25' X 25' space with at least 18" of clearance from tree branches and other obstructions. The castle slide combination bouncers require at least a 20' X 40' space with at least 18" of clearance from tree branches and other obstructions. The slides require at least a 15 'x 40' space with at least 18" of clearance from tree branches and other obstructions.

Can You Set-Up Indoors?

Yes, we can set-up your inflatable indoors. A gymnasium, coliseum, or firehouse is a great place to set-up a inflatable, especially during the winter months and inclement weather.

Can You Set Up At A Public Park?

Yes, we can deliver and set-up your inflatable at a public park. Most public parks require at least one week notice and may require a permit.

Do You Require A Deposit?

Yes. A $51.00 minimum deposit is required to hold your reservation. If you are reserving several items your deposit could be up to 50% of the balance due. (Give us a call for more details.) Backyard Amusements, LLC gladly accepts cash, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. If your deposit is not received by Backyard Amusements, LLC within 3 business days of your reservation confirmation, your reservation may be cancelled.

What Is Your Inclement Weather Policy?

Backyard Amusements, LLC will not set-up inflatable equipment in rain, snow, high wind (in excess of 15 mph) or muddy conditions. It is strongly recommended that you reserve an alternate indoor location for your event (i.e. a church, school, gym, or firehouse). In the event of highly possible bad weather, you should call our office to cancel 3 hours prior to your event. (See What Is Your Cancellation Policy?) If you choose to have us come out and we are unable to set-up due to weather conditions (wind, rain, snow, mud) you will be charged $50.00. Once the inflatable equipment is set-up, the full amount of the rental is non-refundable, even if the event is cut short due to bad weather.

Do I Have To Sign A Rental Agreement Prior To My Rental?

Yes. A Backyard Amusements, LLC Representative will review the rental agreement with you during your reservation confirmation call. You must sign the rental agreement and insurance binder prior to the delivery and set-up of your equipment.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

All deposits are final. However, if it becomes necessary to cancel your reservation, deposits are good for one year from the time of booking, if we receive your cancellation prior to your rental delivery. Backyard Amusements, LLC reserves the right to refuse to complete any event that has the potential to cause damage to its equipment or, in its opinion, may pose undue risk to others in the immediate area.

What Is Your Payment Policy?

Backyard Amusements, LLC accepts cash, certified check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for payment. The balance of payment for your rental is due prior to the set-up of the equipment. On the day of delivery, you may pay with cash only during delivery.

Does Backyard Amusements, LLC have insurance?

Absolutely! There are many companies that choose not to carry insurance coverage. However, we believe that this is an important requirement. We are happy to provide a copy of our insurance binder upon request.
