A snow subscription is a seasonal residential snow removal service that provides automatic scheduling during qualifying snow events. Once enrolled, your property is reviewed in advance and pricing is established based on driveway size, layout, and requested service areas. When snow conditions meet service thresholds, your property is automatically scheduled for service without the need to call or submit a request.
Snow subscription customers are serviced after municipal and commercial contracts, but before one-time residential service requests.

3. A supervisor finalizes pricing based on square footage, layout, and service scope
4. You receive written pricing and enrollment confirmation
5. During qualifying snow events, your property is automatically placed into our service queue
Service timing is based on weather conditions, workload, and winter service priority.
Snow subscription customers are serviced according to our winter service priority system:
1. County and municipal contracts
2. Commercial buildings and parking lots
3. Snow subscription customers
4. One-time residential service requests
While we make every effort to provide timely service, exact service times may vary based on storm conditions, snowfall intensity, and overall workload.
Snow subscriptions are valid for the Southern Maryland snow season, December 1 (or the first qualifying snow event, whichever occurs first after November 15) through February 28.
Enrollment opens October 1 and closes November 30, or prior to the first qualifying snow event, whichever occurs first. Enrollment is limited and subject to availability.
Snow subscriptions must be paid in full by November 15.
Subscriptions registered after November 15 must be paid in full at the time of registration.
Subscriptions registered between October 1 and November 15 may be broken into a maximum of three payments, provided the full balance is paid by November 15. Payment schedules are weekly and are set by Backyard Amusements at the time of enrollment.
Installment payment arrangements include a 10% installment processing fee per payment. This fee reflects the administrative and processing costs associated with installment-style payment plans.
Subscriptions that are not paid in full by November 15 will be canceled, and any payments received will be refunded less a 10% processing fee and applicable technology fees. Properties without a paid-in-full subscription by the deadline will not be scheduled for snow subscription service for the season.
